The Tri-County Electric Cooperative is holding a special member meeting on Saturday, November 17 to elect 9 new members to the Board of Trustees. Members will register for the meeting and vote from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the co-op’s headquarters, 6473 Old State Road, St. Matthews. The election results will be announced when the vote counting is completed by the Calhoun County elections officials managing the voting.
A registration card and sample ballot will be mailed to all Tri-County Electric members. Members must bring a valid photo I.D. and can only register and vote on behalf of themselves or spouse. One vote is allowed per membership. Voting will be at-large, not by board district.
Tri-County Electric will hold a meet-and-greet for candidates and cooperative members at its headquarters at 6 p.m. Monday, October 29.
